THREE NIGHTS WITH ST. PAUL

st-paul-featureSponsored by St. Mary’s (Opelika) and St. Michael’s (Auburn) Churches, Mr. DAVID O’BRIEN, columnist from the Catholic Week and the Associate Director of the Office of Religious Education — Lay Development Division, will offer three talks on St. Paul: ST. PAUL, the Man; ST. PAUL, his theology and spirituality; and ST. PAUL, his contribution to the Church. These presentations will be on three consecutive Mondays — Jan. 12, 19, and 26 from 7-8:15 p.m. in the Social Hall of St. Michael’s, 302 E. Magnolia Ave., Auburn. If anyone from the Opelika area would like to car pool or needs a ride from your house, please call Mrs. Jennie Canonica at 334-742-0785.

These sessions are part of a local celebration of the Year of St. Paul, which the universal Catholic Church is celebrating between June 2008 and June 2009. This year is in honor of the birth of St. Paul, estimated to be around 2000 years ago.
