Open Door: Lenten Prayer Groups

February Birthday Celebration Date Changed

The celebration for all who had birthdays in February will be TUESDAY (not Wednesday) at 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. This is a pot-luck gathering for everyone who wishes to attend, not just those who have February birthdays.

Rite of Election

We rejoice, as a Christian Community, because STEPHEN BARNES, nephew of Joel Barnes, has ex-pressed his desire to be baptized into the Roman Catholic Church. After having participated in the RCIA program  this year, Steve will be presented publicly to Archbishop Rodi, in a ceremony that will take place in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Montgomery, at 11:00 a.m. next Saturday, Feb. 28th.

Lent, then, becomes for Steve a time of spiritual preparation for celebrating the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist during the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday. During that same Vigil, all of us will have the opportunity to renew our own Baptismal Promises
