Missing a Dish?

If you go into the kitchen in the Hall, you’ll see many dishes, etc. that people used for various Pot-Luck dinners and never claimed. Please, check the kitchen and take home what is yours. A suggestion: whenever you bring food to the Hall in your own place, please put your name & phone number on the bottom. That way, we can get it back to you promptly.

Let it Snow

East Alabama ushered in March with a spectacular snowfall this year. Parishioner Chris Randolph took time to capture the scene on Sunday morning.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Even though the actual feast of St. Patrick is March 17th, any true Irishman knows that any day is good to celebrate. So, this year, here at St. Mary’s it will be Saturday, March 14th. As in previous years, it will be “Pot Luck” style. The Ladies’ Sodality will provide the plates, etc. as well as the liquid refreshments. Attendees provide the rest: salads, main courses, veggies, desserts — all with a touch of green!

Fish Fry

The MEN’S CLUB of the Parish will be having a not-for-profit Fish Fry on Friday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m. For this Friday, it replaces the “Soup & Bread”. We come together as a parish to share a simple meal in the Hall and then pray together the Stations of the Cross and Benediction in Church. This is a true celebration of LENT — united around a table, united around the Cross, united around the Eucharist.
