The Committee that is planning our Centenary Celebration will be meeting on Friday, March 7th, at 5:00 pm in the Rectory. If you would like to participate or if you have any ideas that might make our celebrarion a very joyful event, please contact Cindy Clark at 745-5558.

The Disciples in Mission Program began at the beginning of Lent. Each week, small groups have been metting, either at the church/parish hall or in homes, so that participants can deepen their faith, even just a little bit. We pray that God continues to bless this program so that our Parish will grow stronger as a Faith Community.
Next weekend, March 8-9 the Rice Bowls are due. This will take place of the Catholic Relief Collection that is due in March. We will have a box in the Vestibule of Church for the collection. Thanking you in advance for your donation.

Each year, Lent offers us a providential opportunity to deepen the meaning and value of our Christian Lives, and it stimulates us to rediscover the mercy of God so that we, in turn, become more merciful toward our and sisters. In the Lenten period, the Church makes it her duty to propose some specific tasks that accompany the faithful concretely in this process of interior renewal: these are prayer, fasting and almsgiving, which represents a specific way to assist those in need and, at the same time an exercise in self-denial to free us from attachment to worldly goods.
We ask each family to take a Rice Bowl home. Place it on your table or some central place in your house where all can contribute.
…For the blessing that He bestowed on the women of St. Mary’s who attended the Women’s Retreat last weekend. There were women from Tallahassee, FL; Waycross, Cumming, Atlanta, GA Tuscaloosa , Montgomery, Dothan, Eufala, AL. All reports have been very positive and they are looking forward to next year’s retreat.
