"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1601)

Couples who are interested in getting married at St. Mary's Catholic Church must first confirm the date and time of the wedding with a priest or deacon. After this, they may reserve the date and time on our parish calendar. Please contact the parish office for inquiries. 

The Archdiocese of Mobile requires a minimum of six months of marriage preparation for couples who would like to receive the Sacrament of Marriage. Marriage preparation involves regular meetings with the priest or deacon as well as participation in an approved retreat. To begin the process of marriage preparation please contact our office.
